Watch Over One Another

The day of our Lords return is getting closer and closer.  Just like you feel Fall in the air....and can visibly see the changes all around....you can also feel something different all around in the spirit realm.  Besides that....look at everything happening in our world today....things are not as they used to be.  We live in a scary world full of many hateful and hurtful things.  Everywhere you turn there is strife....turmoil.  At times it seems as if everyone has just lost it!!  This morning I awoke with the verse running through my mind about not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.  I believe in the times we are living this is so much more important than we may realize.  So I looked it up and I like how the Amplified version says it....

Hebrews 10:25 AMP
24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities,
25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.

Life....in general....can be hard for us.  We all have many responsibilities with much to take care of.  But....as Believers we have a responsibility to keep ourselves strong in the Lord and to help others stay strong in the Lord.  Being "Army Strong" isn't just for ourselves.  We have to help each other along in our journeys.  God didn't equip us to do life alone....

We all need encouragement at some point....for one reason or another....to keep on going.  As the verse says....we need to watch over one another....more now than ever before.  Let us all be sure to go that extra step with each other.  Make the phone call....give the hug....say the words that the Lord puts in your heart.

Be the heart of Jesus....His hands....His arms....His eyes....His voice....show His love.

Simply put....be there to take up the slack in each others lives.

until we see JESUS....face to face

  1. Oh - yes - I agree - I can feel the oppression. In the last month I've had 2 women scream at me for a simple question or a simple statement. Yesterday, on our trip to D.C. - you wouldn't believe all the things that seemed to get in our way and cause us to trip over things. I think there's a spirit of fear in it, too. I remember in Harry Potter (YIKES - quoting Harry Potter) - and Harry asked an adult a question about how it felt like when the great evil came the first time - and he said something like, "It feels the same" - and, if we look at WWII world history - there are a lot of similar feelings in the air:) - And on that note - wishing you refreshing, time with Him this weekend, strength building for the potential storms brewing!
