Father God with a humble heart
we bow our heads to pray
Asking You to help us now
give us strength for one more day
Sometimes the load we carry
seems more than we can bear
But Lord we know that with You
we should never fall to despair
Please wrap Your arms around us
and hold us up tonight
Give us peace filled rest and keep us safe
throughout the stormy night
When we wake to the new day dawning
fill our hearts abundantly
With all Your fresh new mercies
that You give so willingly
