John 14:21 NKJV
21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
In order to keep the Lords commandments we have to know what they are. If we don't read His Word how will we know? Get into the Word....Get into God. He loves us and wants to teach us how to live here on earth so that one day soon we will live with Him in Heaven for all eternity.
Another reason to study the Word, and get closer to the Lord, is so we can be a light to all those around us. The world is a dark place and getting darker everyday. The world needs a light....the Light....His name is Jesus. Shine forth His light today in your part of the world!

Hi Chelle! And if he is light and with us, we'll share in that light. The world does need light. What a blessing that the Lord wants to use you and me to carry it. He is an amazing God!
