September Blessings

September....feeling so blessed today and for no particular reason.  I was out driving and enjoying the wonderful cooler weather thinking how fall will be here soon.  Fall....pumpkin treats....caramel apple treats....the changing colors....falling of the leaves....cooler weather....all things that the Lord provides for us.  Didn't He do a magnificent job when He created everything?!! 

Another thing September brings into my life is Life Group.  I am thankful for the opportunity to be involved in one.  It's good to be a part of something that is Christ centered.  Not to long ago I wasn't so sure about going but it seems that the Lord knows what's best for us all the time.  He changes us if we are willing to be changed.  That's hard sometimes, but worth it when you just relax and let the Lord do what is best for you.  It seems that He is making me much more aware that doing things....life....on my own isn't always the best way.  It's good to be able to share with other Christians.  The only reason I feel this way and can go to a Life Group is....

Because of Jesus.  On my own....if He had not changed my life....I would never be able to even walk through the door.  Without Him I can do nothing.  And you know what....He likes it that way.  Not for us to be afraid to do things, but for us to take Him with us wherever we go.  Jesus gives us strength to do things that ....before life with Him....we thought were impossible!

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

Jesus loves us all so much and He wants to do life with us all.  He wants to be with us in every situation we face....good or bad.  Do you allow Him to be a part of every part of your life....or do you hold back some?  If you are holding back....let go a little and see what happens.  You might be surprised!
