Do You Ever Wonder

Do you ever wonder....doubt....if a choice you made is the right one?  Well, as some choices go, once you make them they can't be undone.  You have to live with that choice and pray that it was a good one.  At times it may seem that maybe it wasn't the right one.  Like....when things come to a standstill or seemingly go backwards.  Then you have a whole new set of issues.  What starts happening in your thought patterns?  Well, because you are human you start thinking about all of the possibilities of everything that you are feeling.  Then what walks through the door of your mind?  Discouragement....fear....and a well known reality of today....stress!  Okay....we all know who loves that environment that you are setting yourself up in....and loves for you to just feed in that place.

Today, I'm not even going to put his name in this post because he is not the one with the power in our lives.

We need to keep our thoughts on the Lord.  Put our faith and trust in Him and believe that He has everything under control.

Isaiah 26:3-4 NKJ

You will keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on You,
because he trusts in You.

Trust in the Lord forever,
for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

Once you put your faith and trust in the Lord....that's where you have to live.

HE. Is. Our. Strength!

Keep your mind and heart there.  Don't allow the situation to change you.  Become unshakeable in what you know is true and right.  Wait for Him to do what He does best!....

See you through to the other side of your situation to victory through Him!

Psalm 62:1-2 NLT

I wait quietly before God,
for my victory comes from Him.

He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken.

  1. Chelle, This week, I found myself in an ugly situation where I continually sang, "the Lord is my rock. The Lord is My fortress. The Lord My deliverer." - I didn't give the power to the one we won't name - but to Shaddai who never abandons nor forsakes us. Thank you for that encouragement, for this uplifting. It's like God sending you a message for me to keep up - He's got the problem under control:)

  2. Give God the glory and focus on Him! Sometimes we give evil too much glory just by acknowledging it. No matter what God is good. He always has been and always will be. His nature is this way. We live in a sinful, messed up world and the pull of the flesh is strong but our Lord Jesus is stronger so all we need to do is look on Him and praise His name and no matter what we are going through He will be there with us.

    Blessings,

  3. Hi Chelle, excellent point. Give glory where glory is due! To our Lord and saviour. Not to any other
    God bless

  4. Hi Chelle! You are so right. God is the one in charge here, no one else. And not to give in to discouragement is a life goal for me. I go back and forth on that, but I know who is in charge, and he will be victorious.

So encouraging today! Praying you will stay strong.
